OUR 13-STEP BUILDING PROCESS
Building a pool is a big investment, so knowing what to expect at each stage makes all the difference. At Evans & Evans Pools, we guide you through every step — from paperwork to handover — ensuring a smooth, well-managed build from start to finish.

Getting Started
Contract signed and deposit paid.

Administration
QBCC insurance, engineering and certification completed.

Excavation
On-site meeting, pool mark-out, excavation begins. Temporary safety fence installed.
04
Formwork & Steel
Formwork and steel installed. Engineer inspection completed.
05
Concrete Shell
Pool shell sprayed and cured (minimum 4 weeks). Light cables installed. Coping and tile selections finalised.
06
Electrical
Electrician installs power, connects lights and completes earthing.
07
Tiling
Coping and waterline tiles installed (if applicable).
08
Pool Surrounds
Pool surrounds, including concrete tiling and decking, are completed after coping tiles are installed.

Equipment Installation
Filtration and pool equipment installed.
10
Fence Installation
Permanent pool fence installed. Temporary fence remains until certification.
11
Certification
Form 17 certification completed. Approved to proceed.
12
Interior & Fill
Pool interior installed, acid-washed, filled with water. System commissioned.
13
Handover
Pool care, equipment operation and maintenance explained. Enjoy.
